Epiqa version 3.1 released for clinical use
20. May 2013
EPIdos is proud to announce the release of the Epiqa software version 3.1.
New version includes:
• Analysis of the FFF beam parameters as proposed in paper published in Medical physics, Volume 39, No. 10
A. Fogliata et al, Definition of parameters for quality assurance of flattening filter free (FFF) photon beams in radiation therapy.
• The new parameters for FFF beam profile shape include automatic calculation of newly proposed properties – Unflatness, Slope and Peak position.
• The analysis supports comparison of calculated vs. measured profile (dose matrix) and measured vs. measured dose matrix for QA of the beam shape stability.
• Export of Beam profile parameter analysis data in ASCII file format.
• Support for patient plan QA using FFF beams for IMRT and RapidArc for any energy.
• Minor bug fixing of the issues reported by our users.
See Epiqa user experience on: Using EPIQA for the verification of FFF-RapidArc Plans on the TrueBeam.
New version is available as free upgrade for all existing customers using Epiqa version 3.0.

Together with the release of version 3.1.0 we also released version 2.2.3 as a free update for our customers using version 2.2.
