Epiqa version 5.0 supports Halcyon – latest accelerator by Varian

We are happy to announce that we successfully implemented into Epiqa software support for Halcyon accelerator, latest addition from Varian Medical Systems.

Epiqa now supports portal dosimetry images acquired on Halcyon supporting all modalities

• open fields basic QA (symmetry, homogeneity, energy)
• IMRT fields including variable jaws fields
• VMAT arc(s)

The development and compatibility testing has been accomplished in cooperation with several Halcyon users in Europe and South Africa.

We are working hard on adding compatibility for additional linacs and TPS systems.
