Epiqa version 3.1 supports automatic analysis of the FFF beam parameters
20. March 2013
You are viewing an old revision of this post, from March 20, 2013 @ 19:38:45. See below for differences between this version and the current revision.
Upcoming Epiqa version 3.1 brings implementation of analysis of the FFF beam parameters as proposed in paper published in Medical physics, Volume 39, No. 10 –
A. Fogliata et al, Definition of parameters for quality assurance of flattening filter free (FFF) photon beams in radiation therapy
The new parameters for FFF beam profile shape include automatic calculation of newly proposed parameters – Unflatness, Slope and Peak position.
The analysis supports comparison of calculated vs. measured profile (dose matrix) and measured vs. measured dose matrix for QA of the beam shape stability.
